Welcome to MD&A’s Houston Service Center in Houston, Texas.

MD&A is a worldwide leader in the repair and testing of gas turbine fuel nozzles. Our experts perform airflow inspections, pressure tests, disassembly, repairs and reassembly.

We are knowledgeable experts for Standard Combustion, Multi-Nozzle Quiet Combustor, Dry Low NOx System 1.0, Dry Low NOx System 2.0 and 2.0 Swozzle, Dry Low NOx System 2.6.

We have overhaul capability on fuel nozzles on GE® Frame 3, Frame 5, Frame 6, Frame 7, & Frame 9.

The first step of our Combustion & Hot Gas Path Components’ process is referred to as strip and inspect.

On incoming inspection, we perform both airflow and dimensional inspections, then strip them with grit blaster booths.

Our experts pinpoint any cracks with a fluorescent penetrant inspection, or a red dye inspection.

The ultrasonic inspection is a completely automated, ultrasonic underwater test that provides thirty-eight points of precise measurement.

The second step is the repair stage for Combustion & Hot Gas Path Components.

MD&A utilizes the industry’s most advanced welding techniques, including hot box and hand blending.

Our shop has individual welding booths assigned to each part. All of MD&A’s crews are certified in their specific area of expertise creating a facility that epitomizes the best in service and value.
