I graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. After college, I worked for Halliburton Energy Services. I worked in many roles while I was working for Halliburton Energy Services, ranging from Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Design, and Engineer Reviewer.  This helped me gain knowledge of pitfalls when it comes to design, manufacturing, and project management. In the fall of 2021, I joined Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis as a Steampath Engineer/Project Manager.

I started with MD&A in 2009 as a machinist for the Steampath Department in the St. Louis repairs facility. At that time, Steampath had started to integrate CNC machining into the repair work. I was hired to help with that integration.

In 2006, I graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor degree in aerospace engineering. After graduating college, I worked for Alstom as a steam turbine engineer. I supported both field engineering and the Alstom repair workshop with documentation and engineering dispositions.

I graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a Bachelor degree in Engineering and started my career at General Electric®. I then moved onto ALSTOM Power®. Since 2007 I have been working for MD&A as a Senior Turbine Generator Repairs Engineer and have over 26 years of experience in the maintenance, service, and repair of steam turbine and generator equipment.

I am originally from Kansas City, KS where I joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17 and served a total of eight years in the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, NC. In 2008 I decided to get out and go to school for Mechanical Engineering.
