Job Title:  Project Accountant & Coordinator

Job Location:  Latham, NY

Position Summary:

The Project Accountant & Coordinator position is not just a typical “numbers person” role; we’re seeking a “taskmaster” that will maintain project coordination while also maintaining the responsibility for all job costs being applied accurately, and preparing customer invoicing timely and correctly:


  • Prepare weekly time and materials project billings and ensure all the required supporting documentation is in order
  • Gather weekly payroll hours for project resources and ensure they are properly allocated to their corresponding job
  • Ensure all pertinent job costs are accurately applied to their corresponding job
  • Manage all Extra Work Authorizations for each job and ensure the proper documentation is in order to support invoicing for such work
  • Track all subcontractor costs for each of their respective jobs
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  • Work closely with finance and operations managers to properly align costs with their respective jobs and support final invoicing
  • Provide backup for other team members as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Well organized and ability to prioritize
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint applications
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in accounting or business preferred
