Title: Payroll & Benefits Manager

Location: Clifton Park, NY

Mohawk Labor Services LLC (MLS) is a supplier of Millwrights and Technicians to the oOEM Power Generation Turbine Services industry.  Millwrights and Technicians work at customer sites across the US and are administered out of the corporate office.  MLS is seeking administrative support for the field resources.  The position will be located in the corporate office in Clifton Park, NY.

Job duties include:

  • Leader for Compliance
    • Wage and Hour Compliance
    • State Registration Employment Tax SUI
    • Benefits Administration
    • Regulatory Filings
  • Process Improvement Leader
    • Increase Office Efficiency
    • Identify Pain Points and Develop Resolutions
    • Identify Improvement Opportunities to Meet Employee Needs
  • Oversight, Support, and Backup for Office Administration
    • Personnel Administration including
      • End to end processing of Payroll
      • Benefits Enrollment
      • UI/ Workmans Comp Correspondence
      • New Hire Onboarding
      • Personnel File Administration
    • Employee Communications
  • Key Contact
    • Employee Issues
    • Regulatory Inquiries
    • Administrative Support Systems
