Gas Turbine Repair, a division of Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis Ltd, a world class supplier for power generation maintenance services, repairs and parts in the utility and industrial industries, has immediate openings at its St. Louis location for gas turbine rotor technicians to perform rotor inspection and repair processes on heavy frame industrial gas turbine rotors and associated components.
Experience working with gas turbine rotors or components GE Frame 5, 6, 7B-EA, and 7FA/+/+e, such as stacking/unstacking, removing and installing buckets, compressor blading, etc. preferred. This position requires excellent hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude, the ability to understand shop planning and tooling requirements, interface with project engineers & peers in a high paced work environment. This is a shop position and but may require travel during maintenance outage periods in the power generation industry, normally during the Spring and Fall. Relocation is preferred but not necessary, reimbursement for travel to the shop for rotor projects is available.
