Steam Path Seminars

Turbo Parts Incorporated is pleased to present a four day seminar. This seminar is intended for those select engineers whose daily activities are associated with steam turbines.

The seminar will be presented by Bill Sanders of Turbo Technics Services Incorporated, and will include a 600-page course book outlining steam path theory, damage, and repair options. The Seminar is designed specifically for Utility Operations and Maintenance Engineers responsible for steam turbines, and is intended to explain the basics of design, and how maintenance requirements and options relate to the design specification. When a unit is opened for inspection and a damaged or deteriorated condition is found, a decision must be made to allow correction before the unit is returned to service. The background provided by the Seminar will assist the engineer responsible for these decisions to define the cause(s), identify the available options, and make an informed selection from a series of alternatives to correct the situation.

An integral part of the seminar will be the review and performance of basic design and performance calculations. PLEASE bring a calculator.

The proposed seminar schedule is available just click on the location link desired for your information. If you wish to attend, please contact Turbo Parts, or their Agent that has provided this invitation to you.
