Valve Repair

MD&A provides inspection, repair, restoration and upgrades of industrial and utility high-pressure valves and valve components. Facilities are located at various locations within the United States. We provide re-engineering and manufacturing of valves from various manufacturers and address historic design-flaws that incorporate upgraded materials to eliminate the need for re-work. All our valve work comes with a minimum one-year guarantee.

Valve inspections services provided my MD&A include:

• Disassembly of valves
• Visual inspection by factory-trained engineers
• Grit-blast cleaning and NDE of surfaces
• Perform runout checks and detailed dimensional checks
• Conduct valve lift checks
• A written condition report with recommendations

Valve repair services provided by MD&A include:

• Replacement and repair of fine and course mess screens
• Replacement of shafts, cams and casings
• Machining of clearances
• Comprehensive weld repairs including hard-facing
• Material upgrades
• Seat, disc and valve skirt repair
• Restoration of Stellite® surfaces

• In-plant weld repairs with valves in place
• Correction of stud hole thread damage
• Installation of creep-resistant materials
• Repair of leaking gaskets to prevent early roll-off
