This position will be responsible for providing highly responsive EHS support to the business including eight company facilities as well as customer field locations. Develop and drive implementation of programs and policies that foster compliance with all applicable federal, state and local
legislation and codes governing environmental health and safety. Provide counsel to mgmt staff on EHS matters and motivate employees at all levels to develop safe work habits. Conduct on-site reviews and audits of operations and facilities. Interface with regulatory agencies and design and deliver training for all levels of employees. Successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in related discipline, have minimum of 6 years’ experience as EHS professional, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred and power generation industry a strong plus. Demonstrated strong communication skills and competency with PC software. Significant domestic travel required. Relocation assistance available.
